Note Dispatch Delays

Please note, due to current fuel  and logistical restrictions, order processing and dispatch will take 3-7 days longer than normal. If you have received an order number, we have your order and it will be processed. Due to rapid fluctuation of pricing and import constraints, some of the items may no longer be available to dispatch by sellers. You will be contacted by the support team if applicable.

1. Delivery Charges

Jungle.lk is an online marketplace for products and services with various sellers. When products are added to the shopping cart, delivery charges are calculated automatically as specified by each seller. They may vary depending on weight, stock location or the seller for the same product. Some sellers may offer free delivery locally, regionally or nationally.

Sometimes the cheapest supplier for a particular item might not be the best deal for you. For example, Seller A may sell an item for 1000 and delivery of 200. Seller B may charge 1100 but offer free delivery. You are advised look at the total cost, your convenience (i.e. local collection facilities) when placing orders.

2. Delivery Communication

When goods are dispatched, sellers are required to update order details on our website which will update the buyer. Sellers may also update buyers directly. Buyers are advised to monitor their communication and make sure someone is at the delivery location to collect. Buyers are also able to contact the seller through the messaging facilities provided in the My Account area.

Total delivery Dates = Dates to Dispatch (shown on product pages) + Dates for Delivery ( courier dates)

Dates to dispatch is the period required for manufacturing, logistics and administrative purposes by the seller. Information is noted on product pages (above the button add to basket if greater than 0). In most cases this is zero. If you are unclear, always contact the seller or the support team prior to ordering.

Please be aware the buyer may be liable for delivery charges if goods are returned back to the seller after two attempts by the courier. The seller may provide buyer contact details (i.e. phone number) to the courier company to make sure deliveries are completed successfully.

3. Delivery Confirmation

Buyers are advised to inspect goods before signing for deliveries. If items are damaged, the seller should be contacted immediately to seek advice. Alternatively, delivery should be rejected by noting as damaged. By signing for items without any note to damage confirms delivery is in good order.

Any damages, defects or other issues should be notified to the seller within 24 hours of delivery in writing. If notification happened over the phone, note down the name of person, date and time. Follow up the phone call with written communication using the message centre on www.Jungle.lk. This will allow us to assist if there is a dispute in the future.

4. Delivery Disputes

Whilst we hope all transactions should be completed smoothly, there are occasions this may not happen.

The buyer’s first point of call is the seller. Sellers can be contacted directly and through the message centre facility on www.jungle.lk. Buyers are advised to keep a written record if communication was not carried our through our systems.

If the seller is unable to or unwilling to resolve issues, buyers may contact Jungle.lk support team through the message centre, dispute resolution process or directly. We will perform an impartial assessment after contacting the buyer, seller and other stakeholders.

Above process does not affect your statutory rights provided in Sri Lanka.
